Where Italy Takes Shape in Glass

Every MUN piece begins not with a trend, but with a memory — a place, a color, a surface, a ritual. From the warm colours of the countryside to the elegance of architecture and the beauty of sharing time around the table, our inspirations are drawn from what makes you feel every moment “Made in Italy”.

Colours that shine in nature

MUN glassware embodies colour. Each shade reflects Italy’s natural palette, using pigments fused into the glass and these tones become part of the material — permanent, subtle, alive. Light blue aquamarino of clear sea and sky, more intense baltico that reflects the blue-green waters of Venice, gentle yellow and amber shades of fields of Tuscany. Serene cameo and rosa quarzo of natural marble and terracotta rooftops at dusk bring contrast to bold piombo inspired by volcanic stone. Italy is full of colour — gentle but radiant in its own way. MUN captures these hues and incarnate them in glass to bring you something quietly luxurious and entirely natural.

Cities that speak volumes

Italy is a patchwork of cities — each with its own mood, tempo, and light. MUN collections reflect these differences in form and feeling, though volumes and traits of Italian cities: Venice with glow of Carnival and shadows of history and palazzos at the Grand Canal was reimagined in flickering Torse, grandeur of ancient Rome speaks in tune with layed elegance of Plisse while modernity, slick and refined look of Milan is captured in minimal Puro. Every city has its own story, its own character as do all MUN collections.

Intricate lines of architecture

Italian design begins with structure — not rigid, but carefully engineered. MUN glass takes inspiration from the details of buildings: classical balance, Baroque curves, neoclassical restraint, and the quiet eccentricity of Art Nouveau. Each form — from tumblers and vases to pitchers and mini-lamp candle holders — carries echoes of facades, columns, staircases, window ornaments of Italian churches, palaces and buildings. The inspiration comes from experiment, invention, and engineering that remain key symbols of Italian design.

Table as the main character

In Italy, time is measured in meals, emotions are paired with beverage and food. Morning glass of water and coffee at the familiar bar near home, long lunches with laughter, gentle but so traditional aperitivos with a cocktail glass and news, long dinners that last.. Even the tradition of tavolata - festive, generous, full of memories - is what MUN is made for.. All day is accompanied by beautiful tableware to make the moments more elegant and meaningful.
